    Valoración: GREAT

Here comes Lluis Coloma with his first album recorded under his own name which gathers twelve precious tracks, nine own compositions and the other three versions of Count Basie, Thelonious Monk and R Lewis Remember shows Lluis as a very versatile and elegant piano player who, despite his youth, has a precise remarkable technique, partly achieved by his classical training Nowadays Coloma can be considered as a blues keyboards player with more national and international renown, it must only give him time His knwoledge, good taste and class to perform blues, boogies, stomps, swing or grooves can be considered at the same level of the great well known piano masters On the cd Lluis combines piano and Hammond XB-2 which gives more variety to the twelve songs included on it Josemi Moraleda on double bass and Ramón Díaz on drums give the perfect support to make Lluis Coloma’s playing reach a very high level along the about fifty recorded minutes A perfect cd to discover one of our best piano players and a good man as well, I hold on great esteem
