Majestic grandeur prevails over other great qualities into the music of this original Sabadell (Barcelona) blues and boogie-woogie piano player called Lluis Coloma The reason could perhaps be found into the deep classic music roots he originally comes from, which becomes essential into the vision and development of his special conception and the way he displays his particular glance to music His new work has been recorded live from the popular Madrid jazz club Café Central and includes twelve songs of jazz, stride, blues, boogie and swing styles, on about seventy minutes of good music with Lluís on piano, Manolo Germán on upright bass and Marc Ruíz on drums You will find ten original tracks and two covers, Jack Fina’s Bumble Boogie and Carmichael & Gorell’s Georgia On My Mind Although most of the songs included belong to other previous cds, it is always a pleasure to listen to them again on a new and different performing of this gifted piano player and tireless fighter to the survival of the most classic and orthodox boogie-woogie But this is another story of Lluís Coloma’s work I will tell you one of these days
