Since she was a little girl Liz Mandeville was pleasantly impressed by the blues and all what that music represented in her environment This album is part of a dream that for a long time was in her mind and she was continuously thinking about Finally the dream has come true and now we have it to calmly enjoy it on a relaxed atmosphere Liz Mandeville is a singer, guitarist and a more than remarkable washboard player, which can be easily seen in this Clarksdale album that makes justice to her musical abilities and talent Liz has managed to surround herself with a roster of amazing guest musicians, a great pleasure to have the great master of shuffle, the late Willie ‘Big Eyes’ Smith who plays harmonica and drums, Eddie Shaw on tenor sax in one song and Nick Moss on guitar in another song The rest of the musicians are Darryl Wright bass, Leandro López-Varady piano, Donna Herula slide guitar and Jim Godsey bass and drums This is an album recorded and performed with great enthusiasm and joy by Liz and all the musicians involved
