What a fine work Miss Higgins has done! Along this deep emotional intimistic album, Higgins brings us different feelings which are not exclusively blues but have all a bluesy atmosphere Song are practically acoustic and lyrics have all been included on the inner cd notes Besides Litte Miss Higgins on vocals and main guitars, you will also find Foy Taylor on second guitar, James Stanley on bass, Peter Balkwill on drums, Tim Williams on banjo, Steve Tzachev on accordion, Cedric Blary on clarinet and Tim Williams on mandoilne Ten of the thirteen songs included on the cd, ten are Higgins’ own compositions, one guitar Foy Taylor own song, WC Handy’s Saint Louis Blues and finally two blues coming from Mississippi John Hurt and Memphis Minnie A relaxed cool cd, perfect to listen slowly to it
