This is a fabulous, great and necessary album A masterpiece of the Canadian label Electro-Fi as a tribute and homage to this splendid singer and harmonica player called Little Mack Simmons who unfortunately passed away in 2000 after a terrible fight against cancer Electro-Fi friends Sandra and Andrew did a careful musical selection of the cd tunes and the result has been very wise The cd is full of small treasures performed by one of the great performers of Chicago fifties blues The ‘maestro’ is in great spirits, inspired, original, brilliant, warm, creative these are some of the adjectives that could qualify him Thank you Electro-Fi for this present!
