Winner in 2013 of the International Blues Challenge in solo/duo category which every year organizes The Blues Foundation, as well as receiving other distinguished awards, Little G Weevil has definitely established himself as an outstanding representative of the most actual acoustic blues. So far Weevil has also released eight albums, besides touring in different continents.

Little G grew up in Budapest where he formed his first band in 1996, performing regularly there until, in 2004, he settled in USA, starting an upward career.

For this album G Weevil has come back to his native Hungary, going to the SuperSize Recording Studios where, only backed by his guitar and three beers, he recorded on a single take with any stop, sixteen songs that spontaneously came out, finding inspiration not only in the genuine Mississippi sounds but also in the warm atmosphere of the SuperSize studios, decorated with stone walls, wooden floors and high ceilings.

In this really special session Little G Weevil offers a magnificent tour along the different styles of Delta blues, performed with the same passion and intensity as if he was playing in a deep-south juke joint surrounded by a devoted blues loving audience.
