More than twenty years have gone since singer and harmonica player JD Taylor and guitar player Steve Patterson founded the Little Boys Blue In duo format or with the whole band they used to back some of the greatest rockabilly artists like Carl Perkins who became a good friend This kind of work enabled them to do countless tours and get a huge experience Little by little they have reached their own sound and style that could be defined as a magnificent one, where they cleverly mix Tennessee blues or Mississippi delta blues with some rockabilly, rock, country and soul This is the band fourth album they have recorded at Fame Studios in Memphis In this new cd The Little Boys Blue display an acoustic and electric repertoire based on blues, rock and roll, Americana and other more soul tracks Listen to songs like Lights On signed by JD Taylor, Tennissippi or if Id’ to Known becomes a total pleasure All them have been influenced by such different musicians like Sleepy John Estes, RL Burnside, Muddy Waters or The Allman Brothers The band musicians are JD Taylor, Dave Mallard, Mark Brooks, Alex Taylor, Tyler Goodson and Dave Thomas This is a splendid high recommendable album performed by an excellent group
