Tucson, AZ singer and piano player Lisa Otey brings ua an eclectic varied piece of work, where she leaves room for different musical forms related with the wide north American music and cultural fields, from boogie-woogie to fourties classic jazz, folk blues ballads and even pop ballads An original parade of different musical styles is Lisa’s proposal for this cd You will also find a bunch of good guest musicians, such as Heather Hardy on electric violin, David Otey on trombone, Stefan George on dobro, Hurricane Carla Brownlee on sax and even the excellent singer Candye Kane performs a duet on Hard Workin’ Woman, the opening cd song The rhythm section includes Steve Grams on bass and Jon West fall on drums A record that, little by little, is getting on way to this sweet woman with a beautiful great voice, good piano performing and rich human qualities called Lisa Otey
