In 2005 Lisa Mills recorded an album with the same title of this one Nine years later she has loved to record the same songs that were included on the first album but giving them a new air and some different arrangements in a more folk way and a style quite close to Joni Mitchell’s one Ten original own songs plus two covers Wish I Was In Heaven (Sittin’ Down) coming from Reverend Robert Wilkins and Little Wing by Jimmi Hendrix Lisa remembers that she had problems with her voice during those first recording, so this time she has given the best of herself and a deep energy to make her voice shine as she had never done till now The album has been produced by Trina Shoemaker, the first woman to be awarded with a Grammy for her sound engineer work Lisa Mills sings about life and love but also devotes some songs to God, with beautifl melodies that remind the crystal clear water of a mountain stream Miss Mills is not properly a blues singer, because her broad repertoire cover from country to rhythm and blues, gospel or folk music, but, always performed with an exquisite good taste
