With her ninth album and, as its title clearly shows, Lisa Biales leaves his heart beat with a firm pulse, along a handful of good outstanding blues songs, developed from the perspective of a strong independent woman Biales grew up in family who really loved music and she learned to sing helped by her mother who made her discover this wonderful world A couple of years ago Lisa found an old 78 rpm record her mother had done in 1947 with only one song entitled Crying Over You composed and sung by Lisa’s mother This accidental discovery gave her the idea to include the song among the twelve songs selected to complete this album, where you will hear her mother’s voice only aged twenty-four in the first song verse, followed by Lisa’s voice which follows on with the tune singing this jazzy ballad, in a tender lovely tribute to her mother The rest of the album songs prove the powerful voice and wide vocal range of an artist who, I dare say, will undoubtedly reach the hearts of all those people willing to listen to her tasteful music
