Warm passionate blues by two young musicians now based in Austin, Texas, guitar player and singer Brad Stivers and drummer and singer Lindsay Beaver. Although Brad comes from Colorado and Lindsay from Halifax, destiny made these two musicians met and chemistry appeared immediately between them, not only concerning musical tastes but also about their passionate, intense and wild way of approaching blues both musicians always show. Although Brad had previously recorded for VizzTone and Lindsay had done it for Alligator, this is the first album they have recorded together for VizzTone label. To do so, they have traveled to Garret Morris’ studios in Halifax, Canada, where they have recorded eleven original compositions plus a version of the song “You’re So Fine” by Finnie and Schofield. All songs move among blues, Americana soul and Texas rhythm and blues. They are backed by Barry Cooke on organ and bass, plus four deluxe guests like Kirk Fletcher, Garrett Morris and Zach Zunis on guitars and Joe Murphy on harmonica, each one in one song. This is a funny exciting example of real attractive strong music by two musicians who know well what they want to do and easily walk in music with an extreme self-confidence.
