After eleven albums released, singer and guitar player Lightnin Rod publishes a new album with his Thunderbolts, gathering ten songs that tell us about lost and found again love, pain or self-improvement, all of them framed in blues, roots and rock music.

Although his name may not be familiar to some blues fans, Lightnin Rod has been in the music scene for years. It all started when, aged fourteen, he bought a second-hand guitar and amplifier, starting to play and compose songs. In 1984 he released his first album that gave him encouragement to follow on his musical career. It wasn’t until 2004 that he gained notoriety and recognition among the audience with his album “All American Blues”. From that moment on, he has gradually managed to gain a status, as well as creating a legacy of countless songs, that show his involvement and huge musical work.

All the album songs are written on third person except “Another Moment In Time” and “But The Pain” he wants to dedicate to all people who suffer physical and emotional pain.

Besides Rod on guitars, vocals and percussion, the rest of his Thunderbolts include William (Mr. Bill) Lenk and John Pinero on keyboards, Jesse Barton and Mike Stepp on bass and Keith Green and Kevin Stilles on drums, plus Tiffany Wilson Hutton on backing vocals.
