With a career of thirty years behind his back, guitar player and singer Lew Jetton can proudly say that there is no bar, juke joint, honky-tonk, cafe, festival, convention, barbecue or Saturday night party where he has not played. Lew Jetton & 61 South has become a real all-rounder roadhouse band, with a rough sound but, at the same time, full of energy and good rolling able to hit the spot.

Lew and his band have released four albums so far which have received the support of people, besides getting excellent reviews from specialized media and especially lot of radio exposure.

For this new album Lew Jetton has decided to choose sixteen of the many songs they include in their shows which precisely are some of the most requested ones by people who come to see them. They are all Lew’s own compositions, which allow him to show his vocal qualities to sing blues and his excellent technique on guitar. These songs become a perfect example of the band quality and his knowledge of styles like blues, southern rock, northern soul and gospel-blues, they combine with cleverness and display with reliability and an undeniable good taste.

Joining Lew Jetton on guitar and vocals you will find Sam Moore on guitar and vocals, Dan Bell on keyboards, guitar, bass and vocals, Greg Walker bass and Erik Eicholtz on drums. There are a good number of guests, who give a rich touch of expressiveness to a more than a remarkable recording.
