This is the sixth studio album by Levee Town, a band coming from Kansas City which, in recent years, has gained a great reputation as the house band of the famous club Knuckleheads Saloon There the band got a huge experience and enjoyed many incredible sessions and nights of glory backing artists like Louisiana Red, Kenny Neal, Lazy Lester, Lee McBee, Gary Nicholson, Big Bill Morganfield or Watermelon Slim For the past fourteen years they have developed a non-stop career and they have also performed in countless tours all over USA and Canada The recording includes a good variety of blues styles, carefully selected to pleasure all tastes, with flavours that go from Texas blues, in the path of Albert Collins, to swing, jump or rock and roll, to finally culminate in the most actual and new blues trends The album gathers thirteen own songs and a cover of I’m A Damn Good Time coming from Ace Moreland This is a faultless group, which play with an amazing strength and an extreme good technique, which goes beyond of what one could expect to find in a blues band like this one Six musicians who know their work and the music they perform like the palm of their hands, fully devoted to make life much happy than you can imagine Listen to this album and you will be really grateful
