Les Copeland is a versatile guitarist, who started his career on the roads of the Delta and Chicago blues and, as years went passing by, assimilated and incorporated jazz, rock and roll, pop, classical and even flamenco to his style and repertoire. This album marks the debut of this unique singer and song-writer with Earwig label. It includes fifteen tracks where you will find in detail, all the wide and varied range of subtle compositions and his melodic sensitivity on the acoustic guitar, besides ironical lyrics full of his own personal feelings that reflect the problems of contemporary society. You will also find legendary bluesman Honeyboy Edwards playing guitar in two songs “Anna Lee” and “How’s That Drummer” and Earwig label owner blowing harp on three other tracks. A good folk roots and blues album, full of intimist restrained and thoughtful feelings, that overflows tenderness along more than fifty minutes.
