Leif De Leeuw is a young guitarist who has appeared with an unusual strength in European gritty and raw rock-blues scene Despite his youth he has already won several awards as best rock-blues guitar and best new band Leif performs a contemporary daring style where he mixes funk, soul or symphonic rock with rock-blues and he does with great audacity and authority The album includes eleven original band compositions that skilfully combine 70’s rock in the path of Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin, Blackberry Smoke or Henrik Freischlader The group gives strength and warm enthusiasm to their music, adding some underground and garage flavours with a weighted average that could be of interest to a good number of listeners Besides Leif De Leuw on guitar and pedal steel, the rest band musicians are Britt Jansen on vocals and guitar, Boris Oud on bass and double bass and Tim Koning on drums and percussion There have also collaborated in the album Willem ‘t Hart on Hammond and keyboards and Jasper Ras on percussion This is an interesting recording by some concepts that would captivate listeners if they let themselves be carried by their music
