From the dark atmosphere of a club where beer and whisky are mostly drunk listening to a black music band as usually happens in legendary Black Note club in Valencia, magically come Leandro & The High Rollers to warmly delight us with a genuine Afroamerican repertoire, displayed with reliability and good taste After collaborating with outstanding musicians like Tonky de la Peña, Boney Fields, Nico Wayne Toussaint or Marcos Coll, in 2014 Leandro Yanguas decided to start his own musical project he has developed far away of the conventional status of the actual musical demand now in fashion Together with Leandro on guitar and vocals you will find a handful of good professional musicians such as Alvaro Ponce on keyboards, Fede Fuster on sax, Paquito Hickosky on trumpet, Moses Cherry on bass and Edu Olmedo on drums All of them have totally devoted and contributed to give shape and fill with the most genuine essence a handful of great songs where they tastefully mix groove, funk, soul and blues in equal parts Rhythm, passion, sweat, feeling and lots of fun come together on a powerful greasy teamed party of delicious sounds
