Lawrence Lebo is an attractive Californian singer, with an style difficult to classify, because her music includes jazz, western swing, folk and some blues elements Her style is a very particular one and her vocal qualities are wrapping and warm, with an attractive magic and swing It is difficult to define her, but she has a great expressive strength, with different attractive textures and a delicious music to give to all listeners, especially if you see her on live shows, because it is at short distances when you can see all her versatility Besides Miss Lebo on vocals, you will also find Denny Croy on bass, Rick Cunha on lap steel guitar in the song Boogie Woogie Cowboy Swinging Nicholas Kirgo acoustic guitar and dobro on Rose, Rose, Tony Mandracchio guitar on A Promise That I Can Keep, Phil Parlapiano on accordion, Steve Mugalian on drums, Larry David on piano, Mike Acosta alto and tenor sax, David Strother on violin and Craig Fundyga vibraphone An interesting intimist album but, over all, completely different of the music we normally listen to
