Lauren is an artist with a delicious musical sense, plunged into folk, blues and roots music tradition. She gives us all her creative skill on this new cd she has recorded with the priceless collaboration of Phil Wiggins harp playing. Laureen Sheehan takes the whole responsibility on acoustic guitars and banjo playing and, with her velvety sensual voice, she gives her personal stamp to the fourteen songs included on “Two Wings” cd. A bright but at the same time cool cd, with a rich varied musical proposal, specially devoted to exquisite palates ready to appreciate the lyrical prose of an artist with a very personal style who is emerging on the folk music field she very well knows. Although it is only her second cd, I dare say it will certainly not be the last one.
