From my point of view, the album “Blues For Breakfast” brilliantly consolidates the musical chemistry that defines the Nashville-based duo Lance and Lea.

Self-released in 2026, this recording showcases the power that comes from absolute creative freedom, which allows them to masterfully blend the energetic, electric Texas blues brought by Lance with the sweet, harmonic and melodic country and gospel roots that distinguishes Lea’s vocals.

The record stands out for its perfectly balanced combination of raw, acoustic songwriting roots with powerful electric studio arrangements. Standout tracks such as “True To These Roots”, “Salt & Pepper” and the title track “Blues For Breakfast” reflect a mature and, at the same time, remarkable fresh sound.
