This is the first recording of this Port Arthur, Texas based band which have got a sound that gathers the real essence of Texas rock blues, together with French music influences The band leader Jacques L’Amant spent twenty years playing in bars, clubs and Paris streets before travelling to New York, Chicago and Austin to develop his own personal musical style that makes him become completely different from other similar musicians and bands This cd is a good example of the interesting level this musician has now reached Moreover, he is backed by bass, drums and harmonica in some tunes All them give us a new very personal musical vision that walks along modernity, classicism or even underground fields
