A great number of blues musicians and bands have come out in Argentina during the last five or ten years. It seems that in Buenos Aires a new blood of blues lovers is boiling which aim is to feed themselves with blues and spread them as much as possible. La Vieja Ruta is one of these bands that live on Chicago sound using it as the basis to build up their own compositions. Most of the tunes included on the cd are sung in Spanish which give an original different touch. A completely classic musical band with harmonica and vocals, two guitars, bass and drums. GOOD.
