Although this is not the first recording of La Teoria del Taburete, this is the debut album of singer Ana Ramallo, well known as Ana Cien Nit De Blues Al Mo Es Bar, was recorded live at now closed Mo Es Bar and presents different blues covers coming from so admired bluesmen like Jimmy Rogers, Muddy Waters, The Mississippi Sheiks, Leroy Carr, Willie Dixon, Howlin’ Wolf or T-Bone Walker among others Most songs are classic ones, well known by fans, as Killing Floor, My Babe, Walkin’ By Myself,Stormy Monday Blues,Sitting On Top Of The World,Dust My Broom or I Can’t Be Satisfied La Teoría del Taburete is an acoustic trio with Ana Ramallo vocals, together with Pep Cachazo and Toni Pedrol acoustic guitars For this formal jam session, the trio included guest musicians Lluís Souto harmonica in four cuts and Amadeu Casas guitar in three other songs The result is a relaxed friendly cd, performed with the spirit of enjoying themselves but, especially, have fun on stage The true thing is the cd oozes a good atmosphere and this pleasant feeling can be immediately captured by all listeners
