Most people says the blues was born in the country performed by those traveling musicians who made a living playing here and there, telling stories that explained life hardness but often displayed an amazing sense of humor, a good dose of imagination, double meanings and a lot of irony La Rural Blues Band captures this old tradition and move it to the actual days, as well as electrifying their instruments, without forgetting the wide baggage coming from the rural world, the satirical humor and even scummy spirit Musically speaking the band develops diverse styles, ranging from the most classic blues, to country, rock, shuffle and they even perform a particular version of Canned Heat’s Going Up The Country they entitle Vamos Al Campo You will also find some influences of La Orquesta Mondragón, especially in the way his leader Pety Peláez sings For this debut album they have included thirteen songs, as well as a series of guest musicians who contribute to give a distinct and peculiar sound to each composition, which gives a wide range of flavors that enrich the whole recording
