To celebrate their thirty-seven years of career, La Blues Band de Granada has released a magnificent CD with seven gems of the most intense genuine blues and rhythm and blues, that kind of songs that will leave listeners breathless and put the audience upside down, thanks to their musical creativity and a repertoire always developed with cleverness and good taste.

La Blues Band de Granada is probably one of the eldest blues bands in Andalucia, and probably one of the longer ones in active. Currently the line-up includes Sandra Morales on vocals, J. Luis Pizarro on guitar, Estanis Peinado on piano, Pepe Castro on bass and Antonio Valero on drums, plus a horn section they have included in the recording with Gregorio Buendía on trumpet and Agustin Sánchez on sax.

As I have already said, the album gathers seven songs that are a summary of the way the band has contributed and still contributes to the blues made in Spain. Of course, we celebrate that groups like La Blues Band de Granada are still active and working with more enthusiasm than ever, providing to listeners good doses of enthusiastic and infectious blues, always pleasant to discover, listen to and enjoy thanks to the good work, professionalism and devotion coming from these seasoned experienced musicians.
