This is the third album of the series entitled Knickerbocker All-Stars The project has the support of the Knickerbocker Music Center, a non-profit organization that collaborates with Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra & Music School Both organizations work in musical education and the organization of excellent concerts For this third recording they have recruited the ‘crème de la crème’ of Northeast coast blues musicians, all them the very best representatives of the most genuine Texas blues in its conception, style and sound, such as singers Duke Robillard, Sugaray Rayford, Brian Templeton and Willie J Laws, piano players Al Copley, Bruce Bears and Matt McCabe, guitar players Jimmie Vaughan, Monster Mike Welch and the previously mentioned Duke Robillard, Dug James on tenor and baritone sax, Rich Lataille on alto and tenor sax, Doc Chanonhouse on trumpet, Carl Querfurth on trombone, Brad Hallen on bass and double bass and Mark Teixeira on drums As you can easily imagine the result is a really exceptional, an outstanding faultless blues recording, elegant and rocky at the same time, a high-voltage blues explosion that will beat hard the heart and soul of every blues fan and general music lovers as well
