Kirk Fletcher is a well-known guitar player and singer. Throughout his extensive career he has performed at practically all blues festivals and big events, as well as at popular blues clubs and venues. He has also backed artists like Joe Bonamassa and performed with The Fabulous Thunderbirds, as well as receiving a good number of awards and various recognitions. As he himself says, “every time I pick up a guitar, I get down to business and play with a whole lot of soul. “I’ve been doing it my whole life, so it’s an extension of who I am… Every note is a continuation of my childhood, growing up in church, and all of the things I love. That’s what’s most important to me about guitar playing. At the end of the day, I’m just a Blues man”.

With these words Kirk confirms his genuineness that makes him an absolute blues musician, as he is a guitar player gifted with an amazing feeling that can be appreciated in his incendiary guitar solos.

Now he has just released an album for VizzTone Records with ten real blues that move between Texas and Chicago blues, where Kirk wants to communicate a hope message in these turbulent and uncertain times, besides confirming that playing blues is very important to him, especially after having overcome a stroke a couple of years ago. That is why this album exudes energy, truthfulness, honesty and a huge feeling, that totally confirm he is a skillful musician.
