This is a duo of singer and guitar player Stu Kinzel and his wife Lynn Ann Hyde who also sings and plays harp They come from Portland, Oregon, and give us their cool genuine music They knew each other in 1996 and a year later they began to work together, bounded by their passion for blues music Since then on they have done different musical projects and this cd is their last one You will find on it twelve interesting tracks with excellent arrangements and good performing Stu’s guitar work is remarkable with a powerful sound too and Lynn Ann Hyde’s harmonica playing gives the perfect counterpoint to the rhythm section, showing a groovin’ pithy strong sound together with an outstanding technique In my opinion Lynn Ann Hyde and Ann Raines are some of the better harmonica-women I have ever heard She is also a very swingin’ elegant singer with a great charm too
