Kike Jambalaya is well known as an incendiary rockabilly and genuine rock ‘n’ roll piano player After releasing an amazing trilogy where he paid homage to American music with styles like country, boogie-woogie, rock and roll or even traditional jazz, now Jambalaya has done a three hundred and sixty degrees turn to give listeners a completely different project, with a collection of songs sung in Spanish that present his vision of the actual society and the world where we are now living The album comes from the close collaboration between Kike and Miguel Molloy, which has given as a result fourteen song where an effective wrapping atmosphere prevail, both in the music as in Kike’s story teller skills, getting an hypnotic feeling that will immediately captivate listeners, thanks to the communication he knows to awake in most listeners when he faces to the hidden and remote ghosts that can be always found in human being minds An extremely careful instrumentation contribute to give shape to all these feelings, where electric guitars, dobro, slide, harmonica, organ and, of course, his impressive piano playing, provide the necessary background to display a bunch of songs where quality excels other aspects
