A lot of things have happened to Kid Ramos, not all good ones, since the release in 2001 of his previous album Greasy Kid’s Stuff He has overcome a cancer, his two sons have already become young men and his youngest one, Johnny Ramos, has just joined the family of west coast blues and sings in two album cuts All Your Love coming from Magic Sam and Anna (Go To Him) by Arthur Alexander, which was popularized by The Beatles The other singers involved in the album who show their leadership are Johnny Tucker, Big Jon Atkinson and Kim Wilson The album was recorded in a couple of days on a completely analogue way at Big Jon Atkinson’s home studio and, besides Kid Ramos on guitar and vocals in a couple of songs, the other musicians involved are Danny Michal as second guitar, Bob Welsh on piano and keyboards, Kendar Roy on bass and Marty Dodtson on drums As it could not be otherwise on a project led by Kid Ramos, the album is a true delight, a luxury, a complete pleasure and a real festival, where all the musicians walk along West Coast jump-blues with a total self-confidence, an undeniable knowledge and an extreme elegance
