Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Kid Colling was orphaned when he was a small child and was adopted by a Luxembourg family He soon discovered his musical skills listening to the most varied rock, blues and big bands Soon he was able to make a good use of his music qualities, so he decided to devote himself to blues music as it was the style he most loved, but it was not until year 2009 when he took the music seriously and he settled in Paris to begin his music studies at the American School of Modern Music There he met other musicians who shared his love for blues and jazz, and he formed his own band called Cartel as a tribute to his Colombian origins From then on Colling has not stopped to musically grown and has now become a requested musician at European blues scene Influenced by people like BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Larry Carlton and Robben Ford, Kid Colling represented Luxembourg at the European Blues Challenge held in Horsens, Denmark in 2017, where he captivated the audience with his eclectic daring proposal where pop, rock and blues formed a strong high quality musical collage, that can now be perfectly appreciated in this album
