Since he was a very young man Kevin Selfe felt completely passionate by the blues, He now displays and shows all his love for this style along this fun varied album, which will appeal to a wide diverse audiences Kevin builds up a mixture of traditional and contemporary blues with passion and good taste, decorating it with a touch of groove and some funk Kevin Selfe began to play blues when he was a meteorology student at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, listening to artists like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf or Elmore James among Chicago blues great names Since then on Kevin could no longer live out of the blues After his meteorology graduation he abandoned his career and devoted himself to play blues On this album, our guitarist, singer and occasional harmonica player, seduces us with ten own songs, backed by Allen Markel on bass and Don Shultz on drums In short words, it is a more than acceptable pleasant blues album
