Singer and guitar player Kerry Kearney has built up a personal attractive style based on American roots music with an Impressive touch of electrifying high voltage guitar and a style he defines as ‘psychedelta’ His live shows are highly appreciated by his many followers as an explosion of joy, force and communication among the artist, his band and the audiences which crowd all his live performances, because his punching, overwhelming sweaty style immediately connects with most people avid to listen to his idol This Kerry Kearney’s new release becomes a good example of all that has been just mentioned and includes twelve incendiary passionate songs, nine own compositions and three explosive raw versions, one coming from Blind Willie McTell, another by Walter Jacob Vinson and the third one by Stephen Foster’s, with three well selected 30’s old blues Together with David Bennett Cohen on keyboards, Charlie Wolfe on harmonica, Gerry Sorrentino on bass, Mario Staiano on drums and percussion, plus a series of guest musicians, Kenny Kearney’s voice and guitars, many of them custom made, shine at a very high level, making us realize the honesty, commitment and unbelievable power of this interesting artist
