After some recordings for Alligator Records, I come across this album Kenny has recorded for Telarc label The result is really interesting and has not deceived me I do not say Kenny has changed his particular musical register, because he follows his usual way that joins his own actual blues with funky music However, Kenny’s music has become more mature and this can be easily noticed in the relaxed way the music is played along this new album Kenny is backed by very good musicians, such as Kennard Johnson on drums, his brother Noel on bass, or the excelent Sugar Ray & the Bluetones’ piano player, the one and only ‘Little’ Anthony Gerarci on keyboards
