Singer and harmonica player Kellie Rucker was born in Oklahoma City, although she and her family were living in different USA places until finally, they settled in Connecticut. When she was twelve years old, she discovered blues music and started to learn and practice harmonica and, at seventeen, she founded her first band named Blues For Breakfast. Kellie has also been member of Debbie Davies’ group touring extensively with them. Over the years Kellie has become a remarkable singer and harmonica player who drinks from the sources of blues, rock, zydeco, swing, soul and Americana music.

With a long career behind her, Kellie has recorded several albums, all them highly recommended ones. Now she presents a collection of some of the best songs she has performed or recorded during her music career in this album entitled “Best of Kellie Rucker”. It gathers fourteen songs that allow us to appreciate the versatility and variety of styles this woman is able to develop with an undeniable reliability, good doses of feeling and an amazing strength.
