Fortunately one can still find bands which are devoted to develop the genuine Motown sound, but that also give to that music a new renewed air This is the case of Keeshea Pratt Band, a group of eight musicians who approach and precisely display with experience and good taste, not only the already mentioned Motown sound, but that also move easily into blues, soul, gospel and rock, styles that in their hands sound with an incredible strength and energy, as they are played with an enormous and clever conviction Along the twelve album songs, the suggestive voice of Keeshea Pratt appears with an unusual heartbreaking power, perfectly supported by the excellent high quality band musicians, with a special mention to an incredibly well teamed horn section that give life and inspiration to the rest of musicians, where you will enjoy with the elegance of Kid Andersen and Brian Sowell guitar playing, together with the precise and powerful Shawn Alley’s bass, who is also responsible of song writing and musical direction
