Although her style is based roots American music, which is always present in her compositions, singer, songwriter, piano and guitar player Katie Henry goes a step ahead in terms of her conception of music.

After belonging to The Blues Caravan Revue, that is yearly sponsored and organized by Ruf Records, now Katie publishes her second recording where she has included twelve own compositions written in collaboration with bass player and slide guitar master Antar Goodwin.

With all these references Katie is called to climb positions in the actual music scene and, step by step, consolidate herself as an artist with a great prospect and an appealing future ahead. Her strength, energy and communication on stage are her passport to reach the top as, not in vain, Katie is an artist who gives the best of herself in every show she is booked.

Besides Katie Henry on vocals, guitar and piano, the album also features Antar Goodwin on bass and slide guitar, Kurt Thum on organ and piano, Greg Wieczorek on drums and percussion and Giles Robson on harmonica in the song “Too Long”. It was recorded in Brooklyn, New York in May 2021, at Degraw Sound Studios, with Ben Rice as producer and sound engineering, everything under Thomas Ruf’s clever supervision and executive production.
