Singer, piano and guitar player Katie Henry belongs to the new generation of artists who are reshaping contemporary blues landscape. Born in New Jersey, this young singer, instrumentalist and songwriter, showed up and made a name for herself in 2022 with the release of her album “On My Way” that ranked to that year top twenty albums at Blues Rock Review charts.

This time she presents a recording which has been produced by Bernard Allison, who also collaborates on a couple of cuts. Along the eleven songs that give shape to the album, listeners will discover her many facets she is able to develop to make a personal approach to music, together with her vocal versatility, that has been compared to Bonnie Raitt or Norah Jones.

For this recording Katie has counted with the musicians who usually back Bernard Allison, like Eric Cannavaro on organ and keyboards, Michael Murauer on guitar, George Moye on bass, Matt Kimathi on drums and guitars and Richard Pappik on percussion.

This new album will certainly help Katie to consolidate herself as one of the most promising artists of the actual blues-rock scene, and also will be a step forward in her rising career, something which becomes one more of the goals Katie has set herself to grow as an artist to, in this way, win the favor of wide audiences.
