After winning the Best Guitarist award at the International Blues Challenge in January 2020, JW-Jones shows schedule was practically full with almost no free dates Unfortunately Covid 19 completely canceled his dates and tours, so Jones had to remain confined at home in Canada During the days he was locked up at home, JW decided to do something positive to remain active The result is this new recording that includes nine songs, mostly own compositions To carry out the project he has counted with a group of seventeen musicians, with thirteen of them forming a powerful horn section led by Kaz Kazanoff, which gives an unbelievable strength and feeling to all the album material, enhancing every song on an outstanding magnificent way, besides framing JW-Jones’ voice and guitar playing, developing his personal remarkable playing in each guitar solo Every Jones’ single guitar solo except one were recorded in one take, something that shows the expertise skills, self-assurance and amazing technique of this young and impressive musician who has been highly praised by people like Buddy Guy, Dan Aykroyd or Chuck Leavell
