I can tell, and I am sure I am not wrong, Julius Pittman (gifted with a superb voice) and his musicians are totally funny, happy and lively and with them a real joyful party is guaranteed Julius Pittman & The Revival are eight musicians who combine the most electrifying surprising and cool dancing soul and rhythm and blues sounds I have heard in recent times, especially if you keep on mind they are white musicians, although his music sounds black, as black as coal James Brown would be proud if he would have had them opening a show for him Besides Julius Pittman voice, piano and Hammond B-3, the rest of musicians are Randy Moss guitar, Velpo Robertson bass, Audie Stanley drums, Chris McIntyre tenor sax, John Stanley tenor sax, Howard Smith tenor and baritone sax and Dave Triplett trumpet and flugelhorn The album has been recorded live with an exceptional sound quality It is a real festival of colorful music and rhythm and blues, by eight true ‘entertainers’ who perfectly know how to lead the party and create an unbelievable atmosphere
