After the success of their previous release entitled Blue Eyed Soul Vol1, JT Lauritsen & The Buckshot Hunters have been working on some new material they now publish in this second volume Eleven songs, nine the band own compositions, plus two more songs, I’ll Carry The Key by Monika Nordy and Like You Do, written by Lauritsen in collaboration with Mike Zito and William Roger Troiani As their previous one, this recording drives us to soul, a style they decorate with touches of blues and Americana music, also including an effective horn section with trumpet, trombone and tenor sax With this eight musicians lineup the band aims to continue working in the next future all over Norway, Europe and USA You will also find a number of guests who give flavor and enhance even more this already fantastic recording, like Mike Zito on guitar and Victor Wainwright on piano, each one in one song, to mention a few of them As usual JT Lauritsen is full of energy either on vocals, accordion, harmonica and Hammond B-3, creating a warm atmosphere and a passionate hot climax full of an amazing harmony
