Born in California in 1969 and settled in South Florida since 1985, JP Soars has developed his career working in many jazz, blues and r&b bands where the horn section always had a relevant position This is the reason why his guitar style has evolved on a different way as blues guitar players and his influences can be found either in Wes Montgomery or Louis Armstrong and T-Bone Walker or Muddy Waters, without forgetting musicians like Willie Nelson, Tito Puente, Black Sabbath, Van Halen or Metallica All this variety of styles gives a fine beauty to his music, creating a particular style with a great power to seduce listeners, as you will immediately realize Fifteen amazing songs where Soars displays all his wide range of technical resources, not only with electric and acoustic guitars but also with slide, two strings cigar box, Portuguese viola caipira guitar and even playing bass in three songs, besides singing with conviction, backed by a good number of professional able musicians like Lee Oskar, Travis Colby, Paul DesLauries, Jimmy Thackery, Albert Castiglia or Sax Gordon among others
