Deeply influenced by the blues, but also by other styles like rock or heavy metal, singer and guitar player JP Soars is a musician with a huge specific weight, who has developed his performing technique on instruments like guitar, dobro, lap steel guitar, banjo, bass, jaw harp, dulcimer or cigar box guitar.

Soars is a passionate musician who lives by and for music, even building his own guitars. Winner in 2009 of the International Blues Challenge, since then on he has not stopped to play, as well as touring all over United States, Canada, South America and Europe, getting the favor of the audience in each and every one of his performances, adding en each show new followers to his already long list of fans.

As the album title says, Soars has built his music “brick by brick” forming a skyscraper with a structure of sounds, rhythms and songs that create an eclectic repertoire where, besides blues and rock-blues, you will also find a variety of influences of styles like gypsy-jazz, country, Latin music or heavy-metal.

JP has selected eleven songs, most of them he wrote during the pandemic, which show the range of styles he is able to present to the audience when inspiration comes to his mind, he performs with a remarkable inspiration and good technique.

JP Soars plays all the above-mentioned instruments, backed by an excellent roster of musicians, who contribute to round up and extremely satisfying recording.
