From Minneapolis, Joyann Parker brings us a more than interesting dose of good music based on blues, folk, roots Americana music and even reggae, she develops with a powerful well pitched voice, which have made her become a really good performer in those musical genres.

Creative and versatile, Joyann Parker successfully develops each one of the thirteen own compositions included in the album, with an undeniable commitment and well supported by a group of able musicians and collaborators she feels very comfortable with. Joyann makes all cuts become a captivating experience for listeners, thanks to the passion she puts in her performing and her varied wide vocal range. Also, she approaches the song lyrics with honesty, talking about life ups and downs, family, human relationships and mental health, issues that concern this singer gifted with delicate features as well as strong vocal qualities.

Joyann Parker is on vocals, guitars and keyboards. You will also find Mark Lamoine on guitars and vocals, Tim Wick on keyboards, Chris Bates on bass and Bill Golden on drums, together with a horn section, backing vocals and Chris Silver on mandolin.

A good album coming from a singer who cleverly moves with an extreme good taste along the paths of folk and Americana music.
