Only aged thirty-five and already considered as one of the greatest guitar talents by the European dominant market forces of the genre, Josh Smith has consolidated himself as lead guitar of musicians like Raphael Saadiq and Taylor Hicks, but he has also backed Joe Bonamassa or Kirk Fletcher in their multiple European tours With this album Josh comes back to his roots of rockin’ blues, rock-blues and garage road blues guitarist, along an album which has been produced and mastered by the reputed Joe Gastwirt (Jimi Hendrix, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead), so it is easy to imagine the result will not leave anyone indifferent As it could not be otherwise, Joe Bonamassa and Kirk Fletcher contribute as guest musicians, and even Charlie Musselwhite cleverly and tastefully blows his harmonica in the song You’ll Find Love Besides some other guest musicians, Josh Smith’s guitar and voice is supported by Calvin Turner on bass and Lemar Carter on drums This is a daring album, with and actual aggressive sound, where juicy solos and explosive, incendiary fireworks guitars prevail
