Joseph Veloz is a versatile and eclectic bass player who feels comfortable in a wide range of musical genres like Chicago blues, swing, reggae, groove, jazz rock, funk or rhythm and blues And if this was not enough, it is important to highlight he has been gifted with a valuable and high creative potential as well as an incredible stage presence All these qualities can be found in this album, where Joseph has also written most of the arrangements and he is responsible of final production too As Joseph Veloz is not a singer, he has invited some first class voices which give strength and enhance some of the album songs Vocalists like Biscuit Miller, Lucky Peterson, Greg Nagy, Jennifer Westwood and Joey Spina come along the album, giving their magical hallmark and undeniable performing quality Although the album only includes eight tracks, there are enough to let us give very positive words of a musician who knows what he wants and how to get it, who is also surrounded by a handful of musicians with a more than interesting quality In short words, this is one of those albums which will satisfy and please most listeners for quite a long time
