Jordan Officer comes with his fourth album that has been produced by Charley Drayton (drummer with Keith Richards among other musicians) The recording includes the musical genres Jordan feels comfortable with, like blues, jazz, country, rock ‘n’ roll and even gospel and spirituals Eight own compositions and three versions round up the repertoire, songs conceived and developed while he was on the road along the southern USA Visiting the places where these musical genres were born, Jordan Officer felt connected and filled with the spirit, the places, the flavours, the environment and the musical language of that part of the country, which make him feel he was in another world, where the inspiration and musical creativity easily flew with an improvised spontaneity Jordan is on vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, lap steel and violin in three songs, Zev Katz is on bass, double bass and vocals in one track and Charley Drayton is on drums, percussion and vocals in a couple of cuts This is an intimist album with more than one surprise, perfect to disconnect from reality
