Jon Spear Band makes its debut in the music market with this interesting album The recording shows the band natural talent for both compose music with creative rhythms and combine them with mysterious fascinating lyrics, which gives as a result a memorable experience Six of the songs included introduce us young singer, harmonica and guitar player Will James, who contributes to give a distinctive sound to the group with a personal easily distinguish style while, on the other hand, the contribution of singer and guitar player Jon Spear with nine own songs and leading the whole band, gives the necessary and joyful originality to make their music and sound easily recognizable The band greasy and powerful rhythm section includes bass player Andy Burdetsky and an able John Stubblefield on drums The group combines youth and maturity and, although the musicians age is separated by several generations, all of them share the same experience and good taste to create a kind of music that includes blues, funk, rock, soul or swing and they even dare to spice with some salsa rhythms a couple of songs
