Although Johnny And The MoTones passionately love old swamp Memphis sound and vintage original blues, this fifth album they now publish sounds totally powerful and actual, thanks to the excellent work of every band member, the clever selection of original dynamic and appealing songs and the good contribution of the attractive voice of singer and piano player John Altenburgh who also manages to widen black music roads with an undeniable charisma, good disposition and a lot of personality This is an album that will completely satisfy all those fans who look for joy, rhythm and fun But if that is not enough, the recording gives a good dose of quality along the ten songs included Besides John Altenburgh on piano and vocals, the other musicians involved are Mitch Viegut on guitar, Bruce Lammers on bass, Ryan Korb on drums, John Greiner on tenor sax and Pat Phalen on trumpet plus some guest musicians This is an album with a delicious substance and a full palette of colours and flavours
