Recorded at well known FAME studios in Muscle Shoals Alabama, the birthplace of such brigut starr like Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding or Wilson Picket, this splendid Johnny And the Mo Tones second album gives the greatest most exciting pure southern rhythm & blues I have heard for years The band is really effective and powerful, with an amazing swing along the eleven songs included on it A well teamed dazzling horn section to make Otis McLennon powerful voice to stand out and cause jealousy among other blues, soul or rhythm & blues singers It is a fantastic and effective record which will surely impress listeners Also mention the outstanding work of the band founder and leader John Altenburgh on piano together with Chris O’Keefe on guitar and highly respected jazz and blues saxo player, John Greiner
